Matched Savings Program

YWCA South Florida’s Matched Savings Program is designed to strengthen the habit of saving for unexpected circumstances. Matched Savings Accounts, also known as Individual Development Accounts (IDAs), help people reach specific goals by doubling, or even quadrupling their individual savings. You set a savings goal, make monthly savings contributions toward that goal, and then receive a matching grant when you succeed. Along the way, you also receive financial education and counseling to help you achieve your goal.

🔸 Must be a resident of Miami Dade County

🔸 Must attend ALL four financial literacy workshops in order to qualify

🔸 Each participant earns a dollar in matching funds for every dollar saved up to $1000

These virtual will workshops take place over four weeks every Wednesday through March 12- April 2 from 7:00- 8:00 p.m. Topics include:

🔸How Money Works for the Next Generation: Act Now or Pay Later

🔸How Money Works: The 7 Money Milestones

🔸Velocity Banking: Quickest Way to Pay Off Debt

🔸Wealth Building: Financial Concepts to Grow Your Money Wisely
