This Women's History Month, YWCA South Florida is celebrating the remarkable women who walk our halls and bring our mission to life every day. We're proud to introduce "The Women Around Us," a special portrait series featuring four dedicated team members who embody the spirit and strength of our community.
From our welcoming front desk staff to our visionary CEO, these women represent the heart of what we do. Each woman brings her unique story and perspective that deserves to be heard and celebrated.
Each week in March, we'll spotlight one of these women, exploring what brought them to YWCA South Florida, the challenges they've overcome and their hopes for our community's future. Their stories remind us that women's history isn't just found in textbooks—it's being written daily through the work and lives of women around us.

In addition to highlighting our team members, we're proud to celebrate our "First But Not The Last" trailblazers this Women's History Month. These distinguished women leaders of South Florida are breaking barriers in their respective fields as industry pioneers, thought leaders and community inspirations. Through their remarkable achievements, they create pathways for future generations of women and girls to realize their own potential. By honoring these trailblazers who were the first, we ensure they will not be the last, providing indelible footprints for others to follow.
