YWCA South Florida Announces Holiday Toy Drive

The holiday season is here– a time of joy, generosity, and coming together as a community. YWCA South Florida wants to invite you to be part of something truly special: our Annual Holiday Toy Drive! Together, we can bring smiles to children’s faces and create lasting memories for 450 families in our community.

Every child deserves to feel the magic of the holidays, but for many families this season can be especially challenging. That’s where YOU come in. With your support, we can make a difference by ensuring that every child opens up a gift that brings joy and hope this year.

We are collecting new, unwrapped age and content appropriate toys from now through December 9 to distribute to children aged 5-12 across our YWCA Youth Programs. You can sign up using our spreadsheet to choose a child from one of our afterschool sites to sponsor and make their holiday dreams come true.

It's easy as 1-2-3:

  1. Locate an available row. Rows in white indicate children who are still available for donation

  2. Write your name and email in the donor columns.

  3. Once you enter your name the entire row will be greyed out, indicating the child has been claimed by you.

Donations can be shipped directly to YWCA South Florida (351 NW 5th Street Miami, FL 33128) or dropped off at following locations Monday-Friday from 7:30 a.m.- 5:00 p.m. until December 9

  • YWCA Martha Sutton Weeks Center- 351 NW 5th Street Miami, FL 33128

  • YWCA Intergenerational Center- 3450 NW 199th St, Miami Gardens, FL 33056

For 105 years, the YWCA has been a beacon of hope and support in the community, working to empower women and uplift families. The Holiday Toy Drive is just one of the ways we ensure that everyone, regardless of their circumstances, feels the warmth and joy of the season.

Together, we can make this holiday season brighter for so many children. Join us in spreading kindness, joy, and love—one toy at a time.
