Give Miami Day returns on Nov. 21, but online donations can be made as early as Nov. 17. Your gift can make a tremendous difference. When you donate to YWCA South Florida, you join a 105-year legacy of changemakers on the front lines of our region’s most pressing social justice issues. Each contribution helps to strengthen our programs and allows our staff to provide much-needed support to friends, neighbors and loved ones in need.
Each year, YWCA reaches 10,000 women, children and families in South Florida with programs in education, health, economic prosperity and racial equity and social justice. Your kindness will empower YWCA families and strengthen our programs in the year to come:
$25 can help buy supplies for YWCA’s early childhood education classrooms.
$50 can enable a parent to advocate for themselves in court by helping offset the cost of childcare during court proceedings.
$80 can provide a life-saving breast and cervical cancer screening.
$250 can help a woman gain the skills to access and leverage the modern economy through our digital literacy program.
$350 can provide a female entrepreneur with a scholarship to WE360 to grow her small business.
$1,000 can provide eight women with advanced diagnostic exams after a lump is detected.
$1,500 can help move the needle on Black maternal health outcomes through supporting local doula businesses.
$2,000 could help grow YWCA South Florida’s racial equity & social justice community educational programs.
$5,000 can provide enriching, multicultural experiences to youth in our afterschool and summer programs.
