McDonald’s Black & Positively Golden Movement & YWCA USA Team to Help Close Entrepreneurship Knowledge Gap for South Florida Area Budding Moguls

The Golden Arches, with the help of local franchisees, expand YWCA Greater Miami-Dade, Inc.'s Women’s Empowerment 3600 program to help empower minorities in business

WHO: McDonald’s USA, through its Black & Positively Golden Movement, YWCA USA and YWCA [insert market]WHAT: McDonald’s USA, through its Black & Positively Golden movement, is extending its partnership with YWCA USA to close the entrepreneurship knowledge gap by supporting the organization’s Women’s Empowerment 360 (WE 3600) program within the [insert market] area. This FREE 6-week program, powered by Black & Positively Golden, aims to help women of color overcome barriers to starting, growing and sustaining businesses while providing them with educational tools to increase their knowledge and confidence as entrepreneurs. According to U.S. Black Chambers, Inc., African-American women tend to start more businesses, yet access to capital and information continues to be a challenge. McDonald’s support of this program further expands its reach, exposing women of color in 14 markets nationwide, to curriculum needed to succeed in their entrepreneurial endeavors.WHEN: Beginning February 4, courses will take place in Miami Gardens, Florida and will be open to women of all socio-economic backgrounds.
